It's hard to believe the show is Sunday! And we are setting up tomorrow morning! Yikes!! I keep starting things like I've got all of the time in the world. What am I thinking? I guess if it gets done it's going to the show and if it doesn't it's not right? My trees finally dried so I could paint and finish them. I used paper mache' to build them up before adding the paper clay, that's what was taking so long. Save on not on time. Here is one, my snowman decorating his tree...And here is Santa with his Christmas tree...And the items I started yesterday. They should be dry enough by nap time today that I can get down to the craft room and get them painted. I hope! I also need to figure out if they are going to be on something or freestanding. I recently purchased a used graphic card from CEX. It is an ATI Radeon 512MB 4850 HD GDDR3 graphic card. I downloaded and installed the drivers from internet. It was working fine but after sometime I noticed a strange issue when I attempted to open a Winrar file. The issue was that the screen used to go blank when I open Winrar file. Currently I am using motherboard graphic card and display drivers are not available. Only video controller is available. Is anyone aware about such issues? If yes then please do the needful.

One of my Aunties has a Clothes Store and she wants me to make xmas cards for her so she can give it to each of her Customers... nbsp;this is my first idea of a xmas card... nbsp;I will make few others to see each one she like most..
Here I used the Contempo Christmas stamps.. you cannot see it very well but the sentiment is Merry Christmas, also comes in the box and the punch is the one that matches perfectly with the stamp.

For this week's project, I wanted to make something with Sakura Crystal Lacquer. One of the things I really like about Crytstal Lacquer is that when it dries, it's not just clear and glossy,monster beat, it's also flexible. So, unlike similar products, it won't crack or break off of something if you bend it. I recently spent a weekend at a retreat held by PK Glitz in Rocky Hill, KY. For three whole days, we got to make all sorts of things with their wonderful glitter! This is one of the techniques I learned there.
To start out, I stamped this Framed Moose stamp on a piece of clear acetate using black Stazon ink. The, using the fine tip that comes with each bottle of Crystal Lacquer, I started filling in one small area at a time. Each time I filled in an area, I stopped and covered it with glitter. After about 10 seconds, I turned it over, tapped off the excess glitter and moved on to the next color. On the shrubs and mountains, I shaded with two colors by lightly tapping my lighter color over the top of the area, tapping off excess, and the covered the whole area with the darker color.
For my sentiment,Miss Bonny Boneacute, I used the Merry Christmoose stamp,sprites Oh, and heat embossed it with a glittery green color.
For the glittered border, I used 1/8 Miracle Tape to make my outer line first by adhering the tape to the edges of my card and going all the way around. Them I peeled of the paper and I covered with the double sided sticky tape with brown glitter. I repeated the process with the green glitter to make a fantastic border. It comes in several widths for lots of uses.

Few weeks ago I have mentioned on my blog that I have been trying to make a monkey with needle feltednbsp;face. Here are some of his pictures,nike air force! I have used Churro Wool to felt his face, it really felts very fast and hard,Using dimensional tape! (It's so hard that I broke 2nbsp;felting needles!)nbsp;It's very easy to use, in the past, I used merino wool to felt and it takes me ages to make them hard :( One of the downside of Churro is it's rough texture. Even when I used the finest needle, the surface is still coarse and rough. The next time I will try over laying other softer wool to give it a softer feel and touch.

Hanging your tomatoes is not a very much difficult task. In fact it is so simple to do. And more than the simplicity is that there are a lot of advantages from which you can benefit from. Hanging tomatoes firstly makes use of containers and other materials which will be needed as a support system.
The materials are very affordable and can even be recycled from some of your scraps at the basement. Buying them at garden shops is the easiest way to do but if you prefer saving a little dollar,nike shox dame, you can always make use of recycled sturdy containers. A paint bucket or a gallon that is strong enough to carry the weight of your plant would definitely do the trick and the wood that you wish to use for your support system does not have to be necessarily new. If you have, or have ever had a child in elementary school, the mention of "Hot Cross Buns" will likely conjure memories of the old folk tune piped off-key from a plastic recorder. nbsp;For many, Hot Cross Buns are also a traditional part of the Easter holiday. nbsp;These sweet buns, studded with raisins or currants are typically served on Good Friday and get their name from the symbolic cross baked into the top.
This year, I decided to try my own twist on the traditional hot cross bun and came up with the Honey Almond Apricot Hot Cross Bun. nbsp;This delicious little sweet bun has pieces of dried apricot in place of the raisins. nbsp;The rich broiche-like dough has just a touch of almond flavor which nicely complements the tart apricots and the honey-glazed cream cheese cross. nbsp;As the name insists, they are to be eaten hot,as shown in this photo, but can be kept in an airtight container for up to a week and reheated in the microwave for a treat on demand!
Honey Almond Apricot Hot Cross Buns
adapted from John Barricelli's classic Hot Cross Bun recipe
Ingredients
For the buns
12 tablespoons butter,nike air force, melted and cooled, plus more for bowl
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup plus 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
2 packages (4 1/2 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1 tablespoon coarse salt
Zest of 1 small orange (I used a Clementine)
2 teaspoons almond extract
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
5 3/4 cups all purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 1/3 cups finely chopped dried apricots
For the cream cheese cross filling
4 oz. softened cream cheese (not whipped)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg yolk
For the honey glaze
3 Tablespoons honey
3 Tablespoons water
Step 1: nbsp;Generously butter a large bowl and set aside. nbsp;Heat milk in a microwave safe nbsp;bowl,EAN 036934,north face dame, or on a stovetop till it reaches 110 degrees on a kitchen thermometer. nbsp;Pour heated milk into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook. nbsp;On low speed,sac guess discount,because it's dinosaur week at school, add sugar, yeast, salt, melted butter,monster beat, zest and eggs. nbsp;Add flour and mix on medium speed until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. nbsp;Continue mixing, scraping down sides as necessary, until smooth (about 4 minutes).
Step 2: nbsp;Add apricots. nbsp;Knead with the dough hook, on low speed to incorporate. nbsp;Turn dough out on a floured surface and knead briefly to evenly distribute the apricot pieces. nbsp;Shape into a smooth ball. nbsp;Place dough in the buttered bowl and turn to coat with butter on all sides. nbsp;Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour and 20 minutes).
Step 3: nbsp;Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. nbsp;Turn dough onto work surface. nbsp;Knead briefly and roll dough into a log. nbsp;Cut log in half and cut each half into 12 equal pieces. nbsp;Shape each piece into a tightly formed ball. nbsp;Place 12 pieces on each baking sheet (2" spacing). nbsp;Cover baking sheets with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until buns are touching and doubled in size (1 1/2 - 2 hours).
Step 4: nbsp;Preheat oven to 375 with racks positioned in the upper and lower thirds of oven. nbsp;Prepare cream cheese cross filling by combining the softened cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk in the bowl of an electric mixer until smooth. nbsp;Place filling in a pastry bag or plastic sandwich bag and snip a small piece from one corner. nbsp;Pipe crosses over the surface of each bun. nbsp;Place pans in oven and bake for 10 minutes. nbsp;After 10 minutes,but mean the world, rotate pans, and bake for 5 more minutes. nbsp;nbsp;
Step 5: nbsp;During this baking period, prepare the honey glaze by heating the water and honey until honey has completely dissolved. nbsp;When 5 minutes have elapsed, remove pans from oven and lightly brush each bun with the honey glaze. nbsp;Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Enjoy warm!
Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
Reheat in microwave before serving.

I finally got my hands on the Distrezz-it-All v. 2.0 made for International voltages.nbsp; I've been waiting tonbsp; get my hands on this for almost 12 months now, so was really excited to try it out.nbsp; The Distrezz-it-All is made by Zutter and is a Donna Salazar designed product, you can see Donna using the product here (I really wish I found this clip earlier - sigh!).nbsp; The Zutter site says:
'The tool that everyone wants....the all new Distrezz-it-All makes hand sanding and filing a thing of the past. Distrezz cardboard, chipboard, wood,beats studio, leather, Zutter Canvas Artboard, up to 12 sheets of cardstock at once! Hand held or desk top application.'
It's small pink and really cute.nbsp; There is a small blade recessed in a well protected slot (difficult for little fingers to get in there!) so nice and safe.nbsp; It has a paper catching space underneath with a small sliding door to empty the paper shavings.nbsp; There is only one button - which is both on and off and the button needs to be manually pushed and held down for the blade to receive power.nbsp; This particular unit is made for International sale so has a 230/240 volt power converter - unfortunately it is not able to be used in Australian power points without the purchase of a travel adapter, as the unit has a 2 pronged power plug. nbsp; It comes in a very neat little box and is well packaged,sac prada, the unit itself is very light and easy to use - which is a huge bonus, as there are no instructions included with the machine!!!

Mahogany is a beautiful, dark brown wood that is used for fine furniture, paneling, and other uses where the wood is seen.nbsp; Somewhat expensive, mahogany is often used as a veneer on furniture when solid mahogany is not affordable.nbsp; My maternal grandparents had a mahogany veneer bedroom suite, while my paternal grandparents had a mahogany veneer dining room suite.nbsp; Both still look rich and imposing.

Older furniture actually looks better than newer mahogany.nbsp; Like so many woods, mahogany was over logged.nbsp; Most mahogany now is grown on plantations and just doesnrsquo;t look as good.nbsp; In addition, there are woods sold as mahogany that differ from true mahogany in weight and the dark brown color but are technically mahogany.
These problems make buying mahogany a bit frustrating, particularly if you live in an area where you must buy it over the internet.nbsp; I use it sparingly but some people request it, so I accommodate them.nbsp; Here is an example of it in something I made.nbsp; It is a hair pin women use to keep their hair in a bun on their head.

I ordered her in the UK earlier this week and I didnrsquo;t expectnbsp;her earlier than next week, so I was really surprised when I heard the Mailwoman honk today, bringing me my UK package (which of course had been opened somewhere along the way. Grrrr.).
Husband was always more than happy to act as my mannequin, but although hersquo;s a Menrsquo;s Man (ex-Marine, cars amp; bikes, guns, chopping wood, super-chef, etc.)nbsp;hersquo;s quite in touch with his feminin side (picking wildflowers, pooring champagne for me when having a bathhellip; Hey: I never said Irsquo;m not spoiled!).
Yet I couldnrsquo;t get him as far as to wear these for me:

I was forced to look for an alternative.

Whatrsquo;s her name?nbsp;Mutsie. I was in doubt for either Bonnie (Bonnet is French for hat) or Mutsie (Muts is Dutch for hat). But since Irsquo;m only 30 French, Irsquo;m sticking to the name Mutsie. (Hm. All of a sudden Mom comes to mind,www.nike-air-force-one.net, as in Mail Order Mannequinhellip; Negrave;h! Thatrsquo;s too wicked.)
Of course I had to put her together (it looks really freaky like this, wonder what the person who opened my packagenbsp;on the way might have thought when (s)he first opened it up) and put the wig on her head (although she alreadyrsquo;s really cute with her bold head).
